News Capsule: Madhya Pradesh – Wheat Procurement Registration Announced
★ Madhya Pradesh has begun preparations for wheat procurement at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Rabi Marketing Year 2026–27. Farmer registration will be open from 7 February to 7 March 2026.
★ A total of 3,186 registration centers have been set up across the state.
★ For 2026–27, the MSP for wheat has been fixed at ₹2,585 per quintal, which is ₹160 higher than last year.
★ The announcement does not mention any bonus.
