News Capsule: Oilmeal Exports (April–November 2025): SEA
★ India’s total oilmeal exports during April–November 2025 stood at 2.735 million tonnes, broadly unchanged compared with 2.752 million tonnes in the same period last year.
★ Exports in November 2025 were reported at 0.271 million tonnes, down 26% year-on-year.

De-oiled Rice Bran (DORB)
★ Following the lifting of the export ban with effect from 3 October 2025, DORB exports resumed.
★ During October–November, exports totalled 38,257 tonnes, mainly to Vietnam and Nepal.

Rapeseed Meal: China as Major Buyer
★ Exports of rapeseed meal during April–November 2025 reached 0.652 million tonnes, with China accounting for 47% of the total.
★ In the corresponding period last year, exports were only 25,624 tonnes.
★ With domestic rapeseed crushing declining towards the end of the season, export momentum may slow ahead.
★ Indian rapeseed meal is currently quoted at FOB US$ 217 per tonne, compared with Hamburg ex-mill at US$ 216 per tonne.

Soya Meal
★ Exports improved during October–November on stronger demand from European buyers, particularly France and Germany.
★ However, domestic demand from the livestock feed sector remains weak due to preference for cheaper DDGS, a by-product of grain-based ethanol production.
