News Capsule:Indonesia – Palm Oil Exports Jump 32.4%: Statistics Agency
★ In volume terms, exports rose 11.62% to 17.58 million tons between January and September 2025. However, shipments in September dropped to 1.38 million tons, nearly 46% lower than in August.
★ During January–September 2025, Indonesia exported goods worth $2.84 billion to India under the “animal fats and vegetable oils” category, with palm oil accounting for a major share.
★ By the end of Q3 2025, India remained Indonesia’s third-largest trading partner after China and the United States.
★ In September, the global palm oil price stood at around $1,038.36 per ton — up 1.19% month-on-month and 5.65% year-on-year.
