ऑस्ट्रेलिया चना फसल स्थिति
★ इस वर्ष अच्छी फसल आने की उम्मीद।
★ मौजूदा 2016-17 में रिकॉर्ड 10 लाख हेक्टेयर के एरिया से रिकॉर्ड उत्पादन हुआ था परन्तु इस वर्ष उत्पादन में गिरावट।
★ ABARES के अनुसार चालू वर्ष में 7.3 लाख हेक्टेयर क्षेत्रफल से 11.5 लाख टन उत्पादन पहुंच सकता है परन्तु व्यापारिक अनुमान 8 लाख हेक्टेयर क्षेत्रफल से 15 लाख टन उत्पादन का है।
★ साउथ व सेन्ट्रल क्वीन्सलैंड एवं न्यू साउथ वेल्स के उत्तरी प्रान्त में फसल में लगी बिमारी अन्य क्षेत्रों में फसल अच्छी।
★ जमीन में नमी की मात्रा अच्छी।
★ उपरोक्त स्थिति को देखते हुए ऑस्ट्रेलिया में चना का उत्पादन ABARES के अनुमान से अधिक बैठ सकता है।

★ Good crop expected this year.
★ In the current 2016-17, record production was achieved from a record area of 10 lakh hectares, but this year the production has declined.
★ According to ABARES, in the current year, production can reach 11.5 lakh tons from 7.3 lakh hectares area, but the trade estimate is of 15 lakh tons production from 8 lakh hectares area.
★ Crop disease in South and Central Queensland and Northern province of New South Wales, crop is good in other areas.
★ Moisture content in the soil is good.
★ In view of the above situation, the production of chickpea in Australia can be more than the estimate of ABARES.
