★ कर्नाटक, महाराष्ट्र में समय पर बारिश होने के कारण बिजाई 2023 से 10.84 लाख हेक्टेयर उछलकर 41 लाख हेक्टेयर के पार पहुंची।
★ सीजन 2021 में इसी समय के दौरान बिजाई 56.4 व 2022 में 50 लाख हेक्टेयर थी यानी खरीफ 2021 व 2022 के मुकाबले 2024 में बिजाई रफ़्तार धीमी।
★ मौजूदा भावों को देखें तो मक्का बिजाई और बढ़ने की उम्मीद।
★ इस वर्ष मौसम ने साथ दिया तो खरीफ मक्का का रिकॉर्ड उत्पादन हो सकता है। परन्तु जब तक एथनोल व स्टार्च की डिमांड बनी रहेगी कीमतों में गिरावट आने की उम्मीद कम।

★ Due to timely rains in Karnataka, Maharashtra, sowing jumped by 10.84 lakh hectares from 2023 to cross 41 lakh hectares.
★ During the same time in season 2021, sowing was 56.4 and in 2022 it was 50 lakh hectares, that is, the pace of sowing in 2024 is slower than Kharif 2021 and 2022.
★ If we look at the current prices, maize sowing is expected to increase further.
★ If the weather cooperates this year, there can be a record production of Kharif maize. But as long as the demand for ethanol and starch remains, there is little hope of a decline in prices.
