Programme set for IWPA's Global Round Table Conference

New Delhi. Indian Vegetable Oil Producers Association (IWPA), an important organization of the indigenous vegetable oil industry and trade sector, is organizing a two-day third Global Round Table Conference on 18 and 19 July 2024 at JW Marriott Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi, for which the programmes have been announced.
The theme of this program is - Veg Oils Vision 2030: Opportunities and Challenges. I Grain India is playing the role of media partner in this.
As per the scheduled programme, on July 18, in the inaugural session from 10 am to 11.30 am, after Ganesh Vandana and lighting of lamps, there will be a welcome address by IWPA President Sudharkar Desai and then the Union Food Minister will express his views as the chief guest.
Thereafter, the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities of Malaysia will address the program as the Guest of Honour. As special guests, Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member of NITI Aayog and Union Food Secretary Sanjeev Chopra will present their views.
The exhibition and stalls will be inaugurated between 11.30 and 11.45 and then there will be tea break. The first session will be organized from 11.45 to 13.30 in which the head of the Trade Policy Agency of the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia will present his views on the opportunities and challenges prevailing in the palm oil sector.
The Chief Executive Officer of RS PO, President of Solvent Extractors Association of India (C), CEO of Adani Wilmar Limited and Senior Editor and Policy Commentator in Agri Business and Commodity Markets will also present their views.
Between 13.30 and 13.45 pm, MOU of IWPA with RSPO will be signed and from 13.45 to 14.30 pm there will be lunch break. From 14.30 to 15.30 pm the second session will be held and in this also many experts and analysts will present their reports.
From 15.45 to 16.00 pm there will be tea/coffee break and from 16.00 to 17.00 pm in the third session there will be discussion on the topic of continuity in vegetable oil sector. From 17.00 to 18.30 pm in the fourth session there will be discussion on the topic of self-reliance in edible oils.
From 19.30 to 22.00 pm cultural program, networking and coke oil will be organized. On 19th July also the discussion of analysts-experts will continue on various related issues in which many eminent personalities will participate.
The entire program will continue till 14.30 hrs and will conclude with the vote of thanks by the General Secretary of IVP.
