Purchase of crops at minimum support price in Madhya Pradesh
For the Kharif 2024-25 season in Madhya Pradesh, the government has set the following targets and Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for various crops:

Purchase Targets for Kharif 2024-25 Season:
Paddy: 45 lakh tonnes
Millet: 3 lakh tonnes
Sorghum (Jowar): 50 thousand tonnes
Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Kharif 2024-25 Season:
Paddy:
Common variety: Rs.2300 per quintal
Grade A: Rs.2320 per quintal
Jowar (Maldandi): Rs.3421 per quintal
Jowar (Hybrid): Rs.3371 per quintal
Millet: Rs.2625 per quintal
Purchase Period:
Jowar and Millet: 22 November 2024 to 20 December 2024
Paddy: 2 December 2024 to 20 January 2025
Farmers in Madhya Pradesh can sell their crops at these MSPs during the above-mentioned periods, which helps ensure a fair price for their produce.
