China reported purchasing four more cargoes of soybeans following this week’s U.S.-China meeting.
EIA data showed that 1.041 billion pounds of soybean oil were used in biodiesel production in August, down 14.48% year-over-year and 6.09% from July. Soybean oil accounted for 39.15% of total biodiesel feedstock in August — the highest inclusion rate since September 2023.
