USDA reported two private export sales of soybeans this morning, including 198,000 metric tons to China and 125,000 metric tons to unknown destinations.
According to another delayed update of the backlogged CFTC reports, managed money added just 1,137 contracts to their net long position in the week ending December 2. As of that date, their total net long position in soybean futures and options stood at 215,428 contracts.
ANEC estimates Brazil’s soybean exports for December at 3.57 million metric tons, which is 0.24 MMT higher than last week’s estimate.
