Good rise in the prices of gram due to strong demand
New Delhi. Due to increase in demand for gram dal, purchase of gram by dal millers increased, due to which the prices of gram remained bullish this week. The arrival of gram in the producing markets remained weak, the difference between demand and supply has started increasing, which is supporting the rising prices of gram. Currently, the supply of gram in the market remains tight and the demand remains strong. In the coming two months, festive demand will remain, due to which a good rise in the prices of gram can be seen. Due to better demand from dal millers, this week the prices of Delhi gram increased by Rs 225/250 per quintal and with this increase, the price at the weekend became Rs 7400 in Madhya Pradesh line and Rs 7450/7500 per quintal in Rajasthan line.
Port
Due to the support of the rise in the price of Desi Chana and increased buying, the price of Mumbai Tanzania Chana increased by Rs. 200 per quintal this week and reached Rs. 6800 per quintal at the weekend. Similarly, the price of Australia Chana also increased by Rs. 100 per quintal this week and reached Rs. 7100 per quintal at the weekend.
Rajasthan
Due to the increase in the demand of pulse millers, the price of Rajasthan Chana increased by Rs. 200/300 per quintal during the current week and with this increase, the price at the weekend reached Jodhpur Rs. 5700/6750, Jaipur Rs. 7475/7525, Bikaner Rs. 6900/6950, Kishangarh Rs. 6400/6800 and Kota Rs. 6300/6850 per quintal.
Maharashtra
Due to slow selling and better buying by dal millers, Maharashtra gram prices witnessed a rise of Rs. 200/400 per quintal this week and with this rise, the weekend prices became Solapur Rs. 6200/7300, Akola Rs. 7300, Nagpur Rs. 7100/7300, Udgir Rs. 6000/7000 and Ahmednagar Rs. 6800/7000 per quintal.
Madhya Pradesh
Due to strong demand, Madhya Pradesh gram prices witnessed a rise of Rs. 150/250 per quintal this week and with this rise, the weekend prices became Ashoknagar Rs. 6800/7050, Bina Rs. 6600/7000, Ganjbasoda Rs. 6600/7000, Katni Rs. 7225/7275 and Indore Rs. 7200/7350 per quintal.
Karnataka
Due to sporadic buying, prices of Karnataka gram saw an improvement of Rs. 50/100 per quintal during the current week and the price at the weekend reached Gulbarga Rs. 6600/7200, Bidar Rs. 6615/6667, Gadag Rs. 5477/7106 and Raichur Rs. 6123/6811 per quintal.
Others
Due to support of all-round uptrend and increase in buying, Raipur gram saw an increase of Rs. 150 per quintal this week and the price reached Rs. 7150/7250 per quintal at the weekend. Similarly, Kanpur gram also saw an increase of Rs. 150 per quintal this week and reached Rs. 7350 per quintal at the weekend.
Gram Dal
With the support of rise in gram prices, prices of gram dal have increased by Rs. 200/300 per quintal during the current week and with this increase the prices at the weekend became Delhi Rs. 8500/8800, Bhatapara Rs. 8600/8800, Katni Rs. 8500, Gulbarga Rs. 8100/8400, Jalgaon Rs. 8850, Indore Rs. 8700/9000 and Kanpur Rs. 8250/8300 per quintal.
