Buying of Moong weak due to selling pressure

New Delhi. Moong prices declined during the current week due to availability of Moong in producing markets and calm buying. Due to lack of demand of Moong dal, buying by dal millers and stockists remained calm. Due to which rising prices are not getting support. Due to the demand of dal millers remaining calm, a decline of Rs. 300 per quintal was seen in the prices of Delhi Moong during the current week and with this decline the price remained at Rs. 7000/7600 per quintal at the end of the week.
Rajasthan
Due to increased availability and weak demand from stockists, the price of moong in Rajasthan markets declined by Rs. 100/300 per quintal during the current week and the price at the weekend remained at Jodhpur Rs. 6000/7400, Jaipur Rs. 7000/7600, Sumerpur Rs. 5500/7500, Nagaur Rs. 7200/8000, Merta Rs. 6000/7800 and Kishangarh Rs. 5500/7300 per quintal.
Madhya Pradesh
Due to sluggish demand, the price of moong in Madhya Pradesh declined by Rs. 100/200 per quintal during the current week and the price at the weekend remained at Pipariya Rs. 5500/7900, Indore Rs. 7500/8100, Kareli Rs. 5500/8400 and Jabalpur Rs. 6500/7600 per quintal.
Karnataka
Due to weak buying by dal millers, Karnataka moong prices declined by Rs. 100/200 per quintal this week and the prices at the end of the week remained at Gulbarga Rs. 4000/8200, Bidar Rs. 7032/8251, Hubli Rs. 5263/7410, Yadgir Rs. 6575/8043 and Gadag Rs. 6167/8069 per quintal.
Maharashtra
Due to weak demand from dal millers, Maharashtra moong prices declined by Rs. 200/300 per quintal during the current week and at the end of the week, the prices remained at Solapur Rs. 7200/7900, Latur Rs. 7000/8000, Akola Rs. 6400/9000, Barshi Rs. 7500/8500, Ahmednagar Rs. 6500/8000 and Dudhani Rs. 4000/8000 per quintal.
Others
Due to the impact of all-round decline and weak consumer demand, Lalitpur moong prices declined by Rs. 100 per quintal this week and with this decline, the price remained at Rs. 5500/6800 per quintal at the end of the week.
Moong Dal
Due to sluggish demand, prices of moong dal declined by Rs. 100 per quintal during the current week and the prices at the weekend remained at Delhi Rs. 9950/12400, Jodhpur Rs. 9400/9700, Jaipur Rs. 9800, Bhatapara Rs. 10500, Jalgaon Rs. 10200 and Indore Rs. 9400/10500 per quintal.
