USDA reported a private export sale cancellation of 132,000 metric tons of white wheat to China this morning.
According to backlogged Commitment of Traders data, managed money reduced their net short position by 9,905 contracts in the week ending December 2. Following this, the net short position in CBT wheat futures and options stood at 43,841 contracts. In KC wheat, managed money trimmed the net short position by 4,153 contracts to 17,911 contracts.
A South Korean importer purchased a total of 20,800 metric tons of wheat overnight, to be sourced from the United States.
