Heavy precipitation is expected in the Southeastern United States over the next seven days, with some rainfall also forecast for the eastern parts of the Southern Plains.
USDA reported wheat export sales of 487,998 MT for the week ending February 5. That was 30.52% higher than the previous week but 14.32% below the same week last year. The Philippines was the top buyer at 127,000 MT, followed by Mexico at 110,800 MT and Indonesia at 71,700 MT. New crop sales were reported at 13,915 MT.
Expana estimates the EU wheat crop for 2026/27 at 128.3 MMT, down 0.5 MMT from last month. EU wheat exports for 2025/26 were reduced by 1.2 MMT to 27.6 MMT.
