Export Inspections data showed wheat shipments at 535,113 metric tons (19.66 million bushels) for the week ending February 19. This was 41.57% higher than the previous week and 37.37% above the same week last year.
The Philippines was the top destination at 89,227 metric tons, followed by Nigeria with 67,932 metric tons and Bangladesh with 62,144 metric tons. Marketing year wheat shipments have totaled 18.24 million metric tons (670.33 million bushels), up 19.41% year over year.
