📢 Latest Update:
NAFED has started mustard procurement at MSP in Haryana and Assam and is now preparing for procurement in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan for the Rabi 2025 season.
🔹 Procurement Details (Approved by Agriculture Ministry):
✅ Total procurement limit: 15 lakh tonnes
✅ State-wise allocation:
Madhya Pradesh - 4.90 lakh tonnes
Uttar Pradesh - 4.79 lakh tonnes
Haryana - 3.36 lakh tonnes
Gujarat - 1.29 lakh tonnes
Assam - 62,744 tonnes
Chhattisgarh - 3,050 tonnes
❗ Rajasthan (Largest Producer) - Awaiting allocation
🔺 MSP Increase & Market Trends:
New MSP (2024-25): ₹5950/quintal (↑ ₹300 from last year)
Market price in Rajasthan: ₹5200-5350/quintal
Expected Rajasthan production: 50+ lakh tonnes
