CANADA MARKET UPDATE
LENTIL
★ Red lentil prices remains strong, while green lentil prices continue to decline this week.
★ April-May delivery for red lentils has reached 36 cents per pound (FOB farm). New crop prices remain in the 30-31 cents per pound (FOB farm) range.
★ Green lentil prices continue to decline, and farmers are also benefiting from new crop pricing.

PEA
★ Prices remain similar to last week, but challenges persist in marketing yellow peas.
★ High probability of India reimposing import tariffs.
★ Weak demand from China  with no expected changes soon, keeping yellow pea prices stable but with a risk of decline due to reduced exports.
★ Green peas remains stable.

Current Prices (FOB Farm)
Yellow Peas: $10.50/bushel, new crop $9/bushel.
Green Peas: $17/bushel, new crop $13.50 – 14/bushel.
Maple Peas: Old crop $20 – 23/bushel, new crop $16 – 18/bushel (variety-dependent).
