China's Pea Imports Decline by 11% in January
★ Imports in January fell by 11% compared to the previous month, totaling 88,765 metric tons. This marks a 46% decline from the same period last year when imports stood at 165,852 metric tons.
★ Russia was China's top supplier in January, shipping 39,974 MT of peas, followed by Canada with 27,508 MT and the United States with 12,013 MT.
★ China's pea imports remain weak year-over-year, which could continue to pressure the global pea market.
