📍 Alwar, Rajasthan – In a major shift in wheat procurement strategy, the government has decided to purchase wheat for the central pool at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) through commission agents in seven mandis of Alwar and Bharatpur districts instead of government purchase centers.

🔹 Mandis Where Agents Will Procure Wheat:

2️⃣ Bharatpur
3️⃣ Laxmangarh
4️⃣ Kaman
5️⃣ Baroda Mev
6️⃣ Kherli
7️⃣ Vaira

💰 MSP & Bonus for Farmers

✅ MSP for Wheat (2024-25): ₹2425 per quintal
✅ Rajasthan Govt. Bonus: ₹150 per quintal
✅ Total Price for Farmers: ₹2575 per quintal

🔹 Procurement through Commission Agents:
➡️ Farmers usually prefer selling to mandi traders, leading to low participation in government centers.
➡️ By involving commission agents, the government aims to achieve its procurement targets efficiently.
➡️ Only licensed agents will be authorized to buy wheat, and a minimum purchase quantity will be set.

📍 Additional Mandis for MSP Procurement

🔹 Wheat will also be purchased at MSP in Ramgarh, Raini, Kathumar, Malakheda, Rajgarh, and Govindgarh as arrivals begin in 10-15 days.
