★ The U.S. exported 1.6 million metric tons of corn during the week ending October 2, up 3.94% from the previous week and 68.74% higher than the same week last year.

Mexico: 457,117 tons
Japan: 231,859 tons
Spain: 207,861 tons
★ Total exports so far stand at 6.709 million tons, which is 56.06% higher than last year.
★ In the U.S., the corn harvest is about 29% complete, and crop conditions are rated around 65% good to excellent.
★ According to AgRural, the first corn crop planting in Brazil’s center-south region is 40% complete.
★ Brazil’s September corn exports totaled 7.56 million tons, up 10.43% from August and 17.77% higher than last year.
