ICE cotton futures closed lower on Wednesday, declining by 21 to 118 points. Crude oil prices fell by 50 cents per barrel during the session, while the US Dollar Index gained 0.440 points.
The Seam reported sales of 3,951 bales on October 6 at an average price of 82.22 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index increased by 210 points on Tuesday to 91.45.
ICE certified cotton stocks declined by 4,435 bales on October 6, bringing certified stocks to 17,756 bales. The Adjusted World Price fell by 93 points last week to 65.16 cents per pound.
