USDA will release its Weekly Export Sales data on Thursday. Traders surveyed by Reuters expect US soybean sales for the week ending October 1 to range between 0.45 and 1.2 MMT.
Soymeal sales are expected to range between 150,000 and 300,000 MT, while soybean oil sales are expected to be between 0 and 3,000 MT.
Traders surveyed by Bloomberg expect US soybean yield in this week's Crop Production report to increase by 0.1 bushels per acre to 52.9 bushels per acre. Soybean production is expected to increase by around 3 million bushels to 4.538 billion bushels.
Harvest progress is expected to accelerate across the country over the next week due to a drier weather pattern. However, further out, there are prospects for rainfall in parts of Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa, as well as Indiana and Ohio.
