गेहूं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार
★ NASS रिपोर्ट के अनुसार अमरीका में शीतकालीन गेहूं की 42% फसल स्थिति बेहद अच्छी। वसंतकालीन गेहूं की 71%।
★ शीतकालीन गेहूं की बिजाई 342 लाख एकड़ व वसंतकालीन की 113.4 लाख एकड़ पहुंचने की सम्भावना।
★ इजिप्ट की एजेंसी GSC ने 4.7 लाख टन गेहूं टेंडर के माध्यम से ख़रीदा जिसमें से रशिया से 1.8, रोमानिया 1.8 लाख टन, यूक्रेन से 60 हजार टन, बुल्गेरिया से 50 हजार टन ख़रीदा गया।

घरेलू गेहूं बाजार
★ सोमवार को गेहूं पर स्टॉक लिमिट लगाई गयी।
★ स्टॉक लिमिट लगाए जाने के बाद गेहूं की कीमतों में विशेष गिरावट नहीं देखी गयी।
★ ट्रेडर्स के लिए 3000 टन की लिमिट बहुत होती है, केवल गिने चुने ट्रेडर्स ही इतनी मात्रा में करते हैं व्यापार।
★ आटा मिलों को बचे महीनों की 75% मिलिंग क्षमता का स्टॉक रखने की दी गयी इजाजत।
★ वैसे भी कोई मिलर्स अपनी क्षमता का 75% एक बार में इस्तमाल नहीं करता।
★ स्टॉक लिमिट से बड़े चैन रिटेलर्स को हो सकती है परेशानी।
★ राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश व दिल्ली लारेंस रोड गेहूं की कीमतों में विशेष बनी रही स्थिरता परन्तु उत्तर प्रदेश की मंडियों में भाव घटे।
★ शाहजहांपुर गेहूं भाव सोमवार (स्टॉक लिमिट लगाये जाने वाले दिन) को 2440 रुपए थे, मंगलवार 40 रुपए घटकर घटकर 2400 रुपए आये।
★ गोरखपुर 2450, तिलहर 2400, बहराइच 2450, जहांगीराबाद व डिबाई 2470 रुपए पर रहे स्थिर।
★ अन्य मंडियों जैसे कि बुलंदशहर, मैनपुरी, एटा, इटावा, अतरौली, खैर में 10-30 रुपए तक की गिरावट देखी गयी।
★ आई ग्रेन इंडिया का मानना है कि OMSS स्कीम के तहत जल्द ही गेहूं बिक्री की जा सकती है।
★ पिछले सीजन के टेंडर की तरह आगामी टेंडर में ट्रेडर्स को इससे दूर रखा जा सकता है, साथ ही सम्पूर्ण भारत के लिए एक ही भाव आ सकते हैं जिसका फायदा दक्षिण भारत के मिलर्स को पहुंचेगा। पिछले सीजन की तरह टेंडर खुलते ही उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश से दक्षिण भारत को प्राइवेट सेल कम हो सकती है। दोनों ही किसानों के हित में नहीं।
★ खाद्य सचिव ने कहा कि स्टॉक लिमिट बाजारों की मानसिकता को चेक करने के लिए लगाई गयी। कीमतों में अधिक बदलाव नहीं आया तो सरकार के पास कई विकल्प उपलब्ध।

Wheat International Market
★ According to NASS report, 42% winter wheat crop in America is in very good condition. 71% of spring wheat.
★ Sowing of winter wheat is expected to reach 342 lakh acres and spring wheat to 113.4 lakh acres.
★ Egypt's agency GSC bought 4.7 lakh tons of wheat through tender, out of which 1.8 lakh tons were bought from Russia, 1.8 lakh tons from Romania, 60 thousand tons from Ukraine, 50 thousand tons from Bulgaria.

Domestic Wheat Market
★ Stock limit was imposed on wheat on Monday.
★ After imposing stock limit, no significant decline was seen in wheat prices.
★ 3000 tons limit is a lot for traders, only a few traders trade in such quantity.
★ Flour mills were allowed to keep stock of 75% of milling capacity for the remaining months.
★ Anyway, no miller uses 75% of its capacity at one go.
★ Big chain retailers may face problems due to stock limit.
★ Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi Lawrence Road wheat prices remained stable, but prices fell in the markets of Uttar Pradesh.
★ Shahjahanpur wheat price was Rs 2440 on Monday (the day stock limit was imposed), which fell by Rs 40 to Rs 2400 on Tuesday.
★ Gorakhpur remained stable at Rs 2450, Tilhar at Rs 2400, Bahraich at Rs 2450, Jahangirabad and Dibai at Rs 2470.
★ Other mandis like Bulandshahr, Mainpuri, Etah, Etawah, Atrauli, Khair witnessed a decline of Rs 10-30.
★ I Grain India believes that wheat can be sold soon under the OMSS scheme.
★ Like the last season's tender, traders can be kept away in the upcoming tender, and there can be only one price for the whole of India, which will benefit the millers of South India. Like the last season, as soon as the tender opens, private sales from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh to South India may decrease. Neither is in the interest of the farmers.
★ The Food Secretary said that the stock limit was imposed to check the mindset of the markets. If there is no significant change in prices, the government has many options available.
