Govt Approves 15 Lakh Tonnes Mustard Procurement for Rabi Season
★ The Ministry of Agriculture has approved the procurement of 1.5 million tonnes (15 lakh tonnes) of mustard during the Rabi 
season.
★ State-wise Procurement Targets (in lakh tonnes):
Madhya Pradesh: 4.9
Uttar Pradesh: 4.79
Haryana: 3.36
Gujarat: 1.29
Chhattisgarh: 3,050 tonnes
Assam: 62,744 tonnes
★ Procurement quantity from Rajasthan has not been announced yet.

★ For reference, the estimated production of mustard for Rabi season 2025 was shared during the 45th All India Rabi Seminar, with a total projection of 111.25 lakh tonnes.
