ICE cotton futures closed Monday’s session with gains of 15 to 27 points. External factors were mixed, with crude oil futures rising by 88 cents per barrel, while the U.S. dollar index increased by $0.236.
The Seam reported online sales of 1,614 bales on March 21, with an average price of 59.29 cents per pound.
The Cotlook A Index closed at 78.25 cents per pound on Friday, down by 25 points.
ICE cotton stocks remained stable on March 21, with certified stock levels holding at 14,488 bales.
Last week, USDA's Adjusted World Price (AWP) increased by 87 points on Thursday afternoon, reaching 54.63 cents per pound.
