ICE cotton futures closed Wednesday’s session on a strong note, experiencing a midweek boost. Front-month contracts ended 40 to 54 points higher.
Crude oil futures rose 94 cents per barrel, while the U.S. dollar index increased by $0.369.
According to The Seam, 2,569 bales were sold online on Tuesday at an average price of 57.80 cents per pound.
The Cotlook A Index climbed 25 points on March 25, reaching 77.75 cents per pound.
ICE cotton stocks remained unchanged on March 25, with certified stocks standing at 14,488 bales.
The USDA’s Adjusted World Price (AWP) increased by 87 points last Thursday, reaching 54.63 cents per pound.
