The USDA Export Sales data will be released on Thursday morning, with traders expecting 2024/25 wheat sales to range between 0 and 550,000 metric tons (MT) for the week ending March 20. New crop wheat sales are projected to be between 100,000 and 300,000 MT.
Next week's weather forecast indicates rainy conditions across most Soft Red Winter (SRW) wheat-producing regions, particularly from the weekend into early next week. Meanwhile, Hard Red Winter (HRW) wheat precipitation is expected to be limited to parts of central and southern Texas.
The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will release its Grain Stocks report next Monday for data as of March 1. According to a Bloomberg survey of analysts, the average wheat stocks estimate is 1.221 billion bushels (bbu), with a projected range between 1.169 and 1.26 billion bushels.
