कमेटी ऑन कॉटन प्रोडक्शन एंड कंसम्पशन (COCPC) ने सीजन 2023-24 की तीसरी मीटिंग कल मुंबई में की
★ जिसमें कपास की बैलेंस शीट दिखाई गयी। बैलेंस शीट के अनुसार देश में ओपनिंग स्टॉक 2023-24 के दौरान 61.16 (गत वर्ष 39.48) लाख बेल्स बताया गया। यानी गत वर्ष स स्टॉक अधिक।
★ उत्पादन 325.22 (गत वर्ष 336.6) लाख बेल्स के आकड़े दिए गये, उत्पादन गत वर्ष से कमजोर बताया गया।
★ 14.12 आयात के बाद 2023-24 में कुल उपलब्धता 398.38 लाख बेल्स के आकड़े दिए गये, जो गत वर्ष 390.68 लाख बेल्स था।
★ ऊंचे ओपनिंग स्टॉक व आयात बढ़ने से उपलब्धता गत वर्ष से 8 लाख बेल्स अधिक।
★ 331 लाख बेल्स खपत के बाद सीजन के अंत में 47.38 लाख बेल्स शेष स्टॉक बचने के आकड़े दिय गये। गत वर्ष खपत 329.52 लाख बेल्स थी।

The Committee on Cotton Production and Consumption (COCPC) held its third meeting for the season 2023-24 yesterday in Mumbai.
★ In which the balance sheet of cotton was shown. According to the balance sheet, the opening stock in the country during 2023-24 was said to be 61.16 (39.48 lakh bales last year). That means the stock is more than last year.
★ Production figures were given as 325.22 (last year 336.6) lakh bales, production was said to be weaker than last year.
★ 14.12 Figures given for total availability in 2023-24 after imports were 398.38 lakh bales, which was 390.68 lakh bales last year.
★ Due to higher opening stock and increase in imports, availability is 8 lakh bales more than last year.
★ After consumption of 331 lakh bales, the remaining stock figures given at the end of the season were 47.38 lakh bales. Last year consumption was 329.52 lakh bales.
