★ Once again, palm oil markets are firm, supported by strong biofuel demand in Indonesia, steady global production, and consistently rising consumption.
★ Palm oil is likely to remain stronger than soyoil in the coming months. With India being one of the largest importers of palm oil, the firmness in global palm oil prices could keep edible oil prices strong in the Indian market as well.
★ The overall edible oil complex is expected to stay firm, with palm oil leading the trend, potentially pushing up consumer prices in India during the festive season demand.
