★ कल कई वेबसाइट, अखबारों में सरकार द्वारा भविष्य में गेहूं में सख्ताई बरतने की खबरें आई।
★ अखबार में कहा गया कि सरकार स्टॉक लिमिट लगाने के साथ साथ आयात ड्यूटी में कर सकती है बदलाव, OMSS स्कीम भी जल्द शुरू की जा सकती है।
★ कोच्ची और तूतीकोरिन पोर्ट पर गेहूं के लैंडेड भाव 280-290$/टन (23400-24200 रुपए प्रति टन जिमसें 1500 रुपए पोर्ट हैंडलिंग व पैकेज शामिल नहीं)।
★ एक सरकारी अधिकारी ने कहा कि स्टॉक लिमिट का प्रपोजल दिया गया है, 3000 टन होलसेलर, 200 टन रिटेलर, 10 टन बिग चैन रिटेल के प्रति आउटलेट और 3000 टन बिग चैन रिटेल के सभी डिपो तथा मिलर्स को 70% मिलिंग क्षमता का प्रपोजल दिया गया है।
★ कहा गया कि OMSS स्कीम के लिए 25 लाख टन गेहूं बिक्री के टेंडर जुलाई-अगस्त में आ सकती हैं।
★ 2023-24 सीजन में सरकार ने 101 लाख टन गेहूं बिक्री OMSS के तहत की थी।

★ A government official said that a proposal for stock limit has been given, 3000 tonnes for wholesalers, 200 tonnes for retailers, 10 tonnes per outlet of Big Chain Retail and 3000 tonnes for all depots of Big Chain Retail and 70% milling capacity has been proposed to millers.
★ It was said that tenders for sale of 25 lakh tonnes of wheat for OMSS scheme can come in July-August.
★ In the 2023-24 season, the government sold 101 lakh tonnes of wheat under OMSS.
