★ The U.S. exported 768,117 tons of soybeans during the week ending October 2. This was 25.8% higher than the previous week but 52.8% lower than the same period last year.

Mexico: 217,595 tons
Egypt: 181,571 tons
Pakistan: 115,038 tons

★ So far in the marketing year, total soybean exports have reached 3.03 million tons, which is 14.8% lower than last year.
★ Due to limited purchases from China, the usual seasonal increase in exports has not been seen.
★ As of October 5, around 39% of the U.S. soybean crop has been harvested, and crop conditions have declined by 1% to 61% rated good to excellent.

Brazil update:
★ According to AgRural, soybean planting in Brazil is 9% complete (compared to 4% during the same period last year).
★ In September, Brazil exported 7.34 million tons of soybeans — 21.39% lower than in August but 20.15% higher than last year.
