Tuvar prices rise on weak selling pressure and strong demand

Mumbai. Tuvar (pigeon pea) prices continued to rise during the current week. Arrivals in producing markets remained weak, while strong demand from pulse millers supported the rising prices. Limited supply and increased consumption during the festive season have reduced the availability of tuvar in the market. However, prices increased further due to increased buying by millers.
